As a former educator and coach, Brian has focused on building relationships and helping others meet their goals for nearly two decades. It's why he found the mortgage industry to be a natural fit. Born and raised on the High Plains of Western Kansas, Brian learned the dignity of hard work on the family farm where you can still occasionally find him on a tractor during harvest season. Most importantly, ingrained in him at a young age was the value of relationships, integrity, and commitment to others by witnessing the active role his parents and grandparents played in their home communities.
When he's not at work helping to make your mortgage happen, Brian and his wife Darby enjoy spending time with family and friends, traveling, cheering on the Jayhawks, Chiefs, and Royals, as well as taking in all that their chosen home city has to offer.
After moving to Columbia, MO, following a career in luxury hospitality, Shelby has been dedicated to the mortgage industry since 2016. Shelby is all about transparency, ensuring clients fully understand the terms and processes, so they feel empowered and in control of their homeownership journey.
Growing up in Florida and spending five years in Nashville, TN, Shelby has southern hospitality in her DNA. She even claims her pimento cheese recipe could rival the Masters golf sandwich—though she admits she knows nothing about golf.
Shelby loves celebrating all that is home, appreciating how homeownership evolves over time, just like our families do.
Outside of work, you'll find Shelby happily thrifting and visiting estate sales—though she often ends up keeping more treasures than she sells. She enjoys spending sunny days at the pool with her kids and cooking up a storm in the kitchen (but someone else has to do the dishes). A true puzzle enthusiast, Shelby has a collection of over 50 EEBOO puzzles.

When he's not pulling off mortgage miracles or pouring into his work family at the office, you'll likely find him with his wife, Amy, and their two young kids, Coen and Everly.
